Who provides the service

Barrel and Brawn provides the Barrel & Brawn website and companion fitness app. Questions and support: support@barrelandbrawn.com. Effective October 24, 2026. These terms govern your use of the website and companion app.

Using the website or companion app means you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Any subscription purchase is also subject to the offer and store terms shown before payment.

Eligibility and accounts

The service is intended for adults aged 18 or older. Use it only where you may lawfully do so. The free core app does not require an account or subscription. Optional accounts use an email verification code. Provide an email address you control, protect your codes and device, and tell support about suspected unauthorized access.

Do not impersonate another person, share unauthorized access, interfere with the service, bypass purchase checks, misuse account data, or use the service unlawfully. We may restrict misuse with notice where appropriate and required by law.

Exercise and personal judgment

Exercise, lifting, carrying, hills and improvised equipment involve risk. The app and deck provide general fitness information, not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, individual supervision or an emergency service. Consult an appropriately qualified professional when your health, injury, pregnancy, medications or circumstances require it.

Inspect your space and equipment. Choose a manageable load and level, use appropriate technique, and stop for pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, loss of control or other concerning symptoms. Seek appropriate medical help when needed. Generated workouts and movement substitutions still require your judgment. No particular result or rate of progress is guaranteed.

These statements do not waive rights or duties that applicable law does not permit a business to exclude.

Free and Pro features

The free app offers core workouts and local device use. Pro is planned to add personalized training options, programs, equipment profiles, cloud history, recaps and challenges. Feature availability can depend on your version, platform, account, internet connection and active entitlement. We may improve or change features and will provide notice and remedies when required by law or store rules.

The physical deck is a separate product. Shipping, returns, taxes and order terms are disclosed by the seller at checkout; purchasing the deck does not automatically create an app subscription unless an offer expressly says so.

Subscriptions, trials and payment

At public launch, the app store's purchase sheet will show the actual subscription price, currency, billing period and any eligible trial before payment. Proposed pricing is US$3.99 monthly or US$29.99 yearly, with a planned seven-day trial for eligible new subscribers. These proposed figures do not override the final store offer. A trial is not guaranteed and may depend on purchase history and store rules.

Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. An eligible free trial generally converts to the paid subscription shown in the store unless canceled in time under that store's rules. Manage or cancel through Apple subscriptions or Google Play subscriptions. Follow the store's stated renewal and cancellation deadlines. Cancellation generally stops future renewals while access continues through the applicable paid period, subject to store rules, refunds and applicable law.

Refunds and payment disputes follow the purchasing store's process and your statutory rights. Restore Purchases can recover eligible access using the appropriate account; it does not create a second paid subscription. Deleting the app, signing out, or deleting your Barrel & Brawn account does not cancel store billing.

Your data and backups

You retain rights in the information you provide. You allow us and our service providers to process it to deliver the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Optional marketing is not a condition of account use.

Guest history stays on the device unless you export it or choose account import. Export backups before replacing a phone or removing the app. Preferences and program save/restore are explicit actions; Pro history sync is automatic. Clearing local history does not delete cloud history. Backups and uninterrupted availability are not guaranteed. Account deletion removes associated active cloud records, subject to the retention and provider limits described in the Privacy Policy.

App and content license

We grant a limited, personal, non-exclusive right to use the app and its fitness content in accordance with applicable terms and store rules. We retain rights in our artwork, branding, exercise content, software and other materials. Do not commercially redistribute them, remove ownership notices, or copy them beyond rights permitted by law or a separate written agreement. These terms do not reduce rights under applicable open-source licenses.

Apple or Google may impose additional platform terms. For an iOS app supplied through Apple's App Store, Apple's applicable standard license terms apply unless an accepted custom license replaces them. Third-party sites and stores remain responsible for their own services.

Service limits and disputes

We aim to provide a useful service, but cannot promise continuous availability, error-free operation or suitability for every user. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is supplied as available without additional guarantees beyond those required by law. Nothing here excludes liability for matters that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer remedies.

Contact support first so we can try to resolve a problem. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, a class-action waiver, a special court venue or a selected governing jurisdiction. Your non-waivable legal rights remain in effect.

Ending use and changes

You can stop using the app, cancel a subscription through the store, and delete your account. We may suspend access for material misuse or discontinue a service subject to applicable law, store rules and any required notice or remedies. We will not treat an account deletion as a subscription-cancellation instruction to Apple or Google.

When these terms change, the posted version will identify its effective date and we will provide notice or seek consent where required. Send questions about these terms to support@barrelandbrawn.com.
